Terry's Biography

Born in Insch, Aberdeenshire in 1959, Terry Marsh made the long trip south to Bristol in 1983 where she worked for a few years as the youngest Front Office Manager in the Holiday Inns of Canada group. Only expecting to stay “down south” for a few months, she accidentally met and married Garry and had to remain in England (much to the disgust of her Scottish friends and relatives!).

The hotel industry proved to be an excellent place to learn about customer service and customer loyalty and in her years at the company Terry certainly met some tough customers!

Intrigued by the computer industry Terry started work at Digital computers (yes, the same one that Garry worked for!), first in Basingstoke and then in Reading as an Administration Manager. A career break was necessary to bring up two children during which Terry created her own craft business which ran successfully for several years, and also returned to the hotel industry where she worked in sales and marketing for a top quality Hampshire hotel.
